Traditionally the service that takes us from Jesus’ last supper with his friends to the Garden of Gethsemane. The service usually consists of foot washing which Jesus did as an act of humility and modeling vocation for his disciples. It concludes with the invitation to stay up with Jesus, to watch and pray as he did the night of his arrest.
