Union Church Seattle is pleased to host:

Saturday Workshop: When we don’t know what to do with the Church...

Rethinking Witness as we move away from Christendom

with Dr. Darrell Guder and Chis Lim, hosted by David Owens

Saturday, January 30 | 9 – 11 am

RSVP | Zoom link

In light of recent events and what they’ve exposed about the church in America, we are grateful for another opportunity to gather together this Saturday in learning and conversation about what it means to BE God’s people of faith in this fractured time. How do we respond to issues of inequity and privilege as God invites us to respond?

We will wrestle together with Jesus’ invitation to live as witnesses, who gather (eternally connected) to be equipped (internally alive) as we are sent (externally focused).

James B and Renée Notkin will also join the dialogue to talk about the importance of our current focus in the words of Amos as we ask what it means to BE people who reflect the heart of God.

Please join us Saturday in this vital, interactive conversation.
