Eco-Faith Gardening Conversation

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Thursday, 10/29 | 7 PM | Join here

We are excited to announce our first eco-faith virtual event to talk about the wonders of gardening! Adrienne’s mom Kim — a Master Gardener, recreational therapist, and leader of her church’s Creation Care ministry — will share more about her experience gardening and the healing it can bring individually and communally.

We have loved hearing stories of our community’s gardening be it in a new garden box, a pea patch or a yogurt container, and we are excited about others’ interest in learning to become gardeners. Join us in a conversation about encouraging one another in our gardening interests as we seek creation care.

“People often ask me what one thing I would recommend to restore relationship between land and people. My answer is almost always, “Plant a garden.” It’s good for the health of the earth and it is good for the health of people. A garden is a nursery for nurturing connection, the soil for cultivation of practical reverence. And, its power goes far beyond the garden gate – once you develop a relationship with a little patch of earth, it becomes a seed itself.”
