Poverty and Social Justice Roundtable

  • 415 Westlake Ave N (map)

There are more than 2000 scripture verses that speak of poverty and injustice. How does this connect to your story? At the center of Jesus' ministry is the radical empowerment of vulnerable people groups. We want to gather and discuss how Jesus' call to discipleship is also a call to disruption. In what ways are your heart and hands being moved to respond? What is Jesus calling you to "come and see"?

We know there are so many stories of engagement and hope in the Union community but we can often feel alone, isolated and defeated.  Join us for a Roundtable discussion on May 20th to learn and imagine together about how we can continue to be a part of God's work of "loosening the bonds of injustice"  (Isaiah 58:6).
