Create Your Own 4th Sunday Action
Some folks like to take 4th Sunday to develop connections with brothers and sisters by attending another church in their neighborhood or gathering others to share a meal or help a neighbor in community. What is a way that you feel nudged to express God's love and acceptance and seek the "welfare of the community?"

You also may want to take time to meditate on Philippians 2:13-16
For it is God who is at work within you, giving you the will and the power to achieve his purpose.Do all you have to do without grumbling or arguing, so that you may be God’s children, blameless, sincere and wholesome, living in a warped and diseased world, and shining there like lights in a dark place. For you hold in your hands the very word of life.  Philippians 2:13-16JB Phillips

Where have you experienced "God at work within you?"  How is God's purpose different than that of the world's messages? Where are you invited to invest this week to bring "light in a dark place?"
